September 16, 2026.  Our first student Environmental Awareness Grant was awarded to Hersey High School.  The innovative grant will support a student-led project that connects environmental conservation with hands-on learning, cultural awareness, and student wellness.  Students  will use 3D printing to create sensory fidgets modeled after endangered Asian species.  Each fidget will be paired with educational materials explaining the animal’s habitat, conservation status, threats, and ways students can support environmental stewardship.
