Highlights of the April 7, 2022 Club Assembly
Financial Report- Dave Weiner for Ron Gerlach
- The Foundation account currently has $60,000 in assets. With one quarter remaining in the Rotary year, we are $20,000 under budget in expenditures, but expect to end the year on budget, with $40,000 in reserves/assets.
- Year-to-date, the Club is running slightly favorable to budget and is in solid financial position.
Membership Report- Joe Musolino
- Year-to-date we have added 13 new members.
- At this point we are in a strong position relative to our membership challenge with Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates
- The new members that have joined are very interested in service projects.
- Plans are currently underway for a "New Member" event that will be combined with this year's Spring Fling. It will tentatively be held at the new Arlington Heights Memorial Library Makerspace and will include a chopped competition. Details are still being worked out, so stay tuned.

- Public Image Grant/Project Status
- The Board has approved purchase of a "Rotary branded" bike rack. It will probably be installed at Lake Arlington, pending receipt of all necessary approvals. We will be applying for the District Public Image Grant to offset $500 of the total cost.

- Vision Plan Update
- There have been some slight revisions to the plan.
- The process of annual reviewing and exploring club projects has been removed from the Vision Master plan due to the fact that both processes occur organically as part of normal operations.
- Two action items related to expanding the financial goals of the Santa Run and Golf Outing have been combined into one item.
- As it relates to other action items there has been reasonable progress on several as we close out our first of three years; notably there are now operational committees for foundation and succession planning.
- There have been some slight revisions to the plan.

- End of the year recognition awards are coming up. These will be voted on at the May board meeting.
