District 219's Bridges Adult Transition Program

Mr. Aby Karottu (Niles North Special Ed Teacher) and Ms. Yvette Stroesser-Schmidt (DRS, Employment Specialist) will speak about District 219's Bridges Adult Transition Services which serves adult learners aged 18 through the day before their 22nd birthday. They will discuss skills taught, demographics of clients, the types of jobs sought for the clients, the role D219 plays, the role the community plays, the new facility, and challenges due to the pandemic or overall.
