     Rotary Scholarship available through District 5400! There is a scholarship available through Rotary District 5400 (our district) for entering freshmen in Idaho secondary schools, colleges, universities, junior and community colleges. The application is due September 1st, so not much time to apply, so if interested, must hurry!
      Preferred Eligibility: is for students with prior participation in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp), Rotaract, Interact or RYE (Rotary Youth Exchange). 
      Restrictions: You may not apply if you are a Rotarian or related to a Rotarian by blood, marriage, adoption or a child or grandchild. You may also not apply if for all the prior if you are related to a former Rotarian. 
     The deadline for students to apply for the District 5400 Scholarship is quickly approaching! The District 5400 Scholarship Committee is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year. This scholarship will benefit an incoming college freshman in the 2018-2019 year  (Candidate should be preparing to start college in the fall of 2018). The recipient of the award may, under the terms and conditions of the scholarship, be eligible to receive the scholarship for up to three (3) additional years.
     The completed applications must be received on or before SEPTEMBER 1, 2018 and must be submitted using the scholarship application that is located on the District 5400 Website (
     Scholarship instructions, eligibility requirements, and restrictions are outlined on the scholarship application. The District 5400 Scholarship Committee, comprised of members throughout the District, will review the candidates and make a final selection no later than October 1, 2018.
