The Rotary Water Plant was very busy post Hurricane Matthew and we estimate that we gave out just over 100,000 gallons of water which included having water in all the islands hurricane shelters before the storm hit. After the storm passed out tank trailers canvased the island delivering water door to door. We also parked trailers at buildings that had no power and hence no water supply to the upper floors. The residents used the water for not only drinking but also for bathing and flushing toilets. One such building has 50 families and 80 children living in it.
