PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT – Breathwork & Mindfulness
CJ Kobalis delivered an engaging presentation on the power of conscious breathing. Key takeaways:
∙ Techniques covered: box breathing, coherent breathing, and nose breathing
∙ Benefits: stress reduction, nervous system regulation, improved oxygen absorption
∙ Try incorporating breathwork into your morning and bedtime routines!
ROTARY FOUNDATION SPOTLIGHT
Former President Sharon Ellis shared her personal connection to polio, reinforcing the importance of the Polio Plus program. To date, over 1 billion children have been immunized against polio thanks to Rotarian support worldwide.
