Speaker: Our Christmas music program was the last meeting of 2019 and highlighted local singer Roy Henry who performed an array of classic tunes and Christmas melodies including Have Yourself a Merry Christmas and O Come All Ye Faithful accompanied by keyboardist Mark Burns. Our next meeting will be January 7, 2020.
Announcements: Linda Osty announced the success of our annual Christmas movie with more than 240 people attending. The toys and food collected went to community families in need. Great positive comments were heard from all in attendance. Jennie Dierks presented Jason and Maggie and daughter Kia with 3 tickets to Disneyland and a $250 gift card. Jason has been fighting cancer and other complications due to his treatments.
Recognitions: Joel Conn and Jim Lewis were about to be fined for their botched guests introductions but in the Christmas spirit President Jack Hardy waived the fines.
