The meeting was run by Greg Baker as Joel was stuck in an airport.  Anya provided a moment of inspiration followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.   Lunch was chicken piccata, vegetables, mashed potatoes, salad and rolls.   Before we finished the meal, Ashlea introduced Dylan Foreman, community reporter for KSBY.    Dylan talked about his college career as captain of his college basketball team in Montana.   He spoke about his mom inspiring him.   She played professional golf and instilled confidence in him.   His desire after college was to be a TV sports reporter.    He coached grade school and junior high school basketball teams while he searched for a TV job.  He finally got a break to be a reporter in Great Falls, Montana.    From there, he got the sports reporter job at KSBY.    Due to reorganization at the station he in now a community reporter, while still doing the sports job when they need a fill in.  He concluded with his "Takaways from Life and Career"

• You can’t force it

• Connections open doors you simply didn’t even think to walk through

• A no somewhere is a yes somewhere else

• Dealing with subjectivity is hard but it’s a great way to deal with expectations

• The balance between self-criticism and self-doubt is crucial

• Find joy in the little things even when the overall isn’t what you want

• Manage stress, don’t let it control how you live and how you feel

Greg invited Steve up to talk about Paul Harris awards.   He encouraged members to think about who they want to give a Paul Harris Fellow to.   He told Harlan to "Get some friends" because Harlan can award five Paul Harris Fellows.   However John T has sixteen to award.   He also drew names for one person on the Paul Harris teams to receive a Paul Harris.   Ashlea gave Happy Bucks for Jack for the success of their high school Volleyball team.    Greg asked that we keep Scott and Karen in our thoughts and prayers.  Anya told us the club is going to change the social outings for the next three months.   The club is going to try something different rather than meeting for appetizers and drinks.    We had the 50/50 drawing, no winner.   Anya concluded the meeting with another moment of inspiration.
