• Bike Ride Wow! We enjoyed a fabulous recap of the ride and highly recommend watching the video from last week's meeting - available at our website - for all the details. The Ride - You - raised over $300,000. Brent Dunton and Peter Truman provide the details and oh so many people to thank. Don't miss the November 12 Post Ride Party.

• Firecracker Donation to Girls Inc. - Penni Bengston and Jeff Kirk presented a check for $10,000 to Girls Inc. Stay tuned in the future for details on how our donation supported this worth cause. 

• International Projects - George Bunch offered an update and fabulous pictures from El Salvador - this project is supported in part by funds from our Wine to Water events. You can see the images and hear about the impact Rotary has on the lives of children and adults alike by watching his presentation in the last meeting.

• Rotary to the Rescue - An additional $10,000 was needed to support the water installation project in Guatemala water install this coming January. John Flaniken with the support of Jon Winston, Jerry Souza and Tom Hall quietly and successfully raised those funds. There are still some spots available if you'd like to go on the trip. • Redwoods Saved! Rotary to the Rescue Join the Santa Cruz Club, October 21, in partnership with the Mountain Parks Foundation, as we venture back 100 years to the storied beginning of the Rotary Club of Santa Cruz. How, during the bedlam of the Roaring 20's, did the fledgling club enlist Rotary International to help save our beloved giant redwood trees for generations to come?
