Last Week Today

  • Last week’s speaker was Tara Leonard, a Health Educator with the County of Santa Cruz Health Services Agency. Ms. Leonard shared the County's Tobacco Education and Prevention Program and the work of the Tobacco Education Coalition. The two focus objectives of the talk were: 1. Adopt policies to prohibit the sale and distribution of flavored tobacco products (like e-cigs), and 2. Adopt policies to prohibit the sale of products that demonstrably contribute to tobacco product waste. You can view the full presentation by watching the meeting recording here.
