Ukes & Flutes!

In it's first year, after only two semesters, Arts in the Afternoon is becoming the after-school rage for middle schoolers all over the county!

Program co-creator Bruce McGuire took his latest uke class to visit the Santa Cruz Rotary on April 16 where they performed to rave reviews on their very own hand-make ukes. To view photos from that day click here.

On May 5th, Peggy Alberti showed off the current bamboo flute students as they continue to construct their flutes and practice for a Sunrise performance on June 1st. More photos of that visit can be viewed here.
