The Rotary Club of Poland’s Night at the Races was an unforgettable evening filled with excitement, laughter, and a shared commitment to giving back.

Thanks to the incredible support of our attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, the event was a tremendous success. Guests enjoyed friendly competition, great company, and the opportunity to support Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.

Proceeds support local organizations that make a meaningful difference throughout our community and beyond. The generosity shown that evening will have a lasting impact well past race night.

We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make the event possible—from those who attended and volunteered to the sponsors who continue to believe in our mission.

The Night at the Races and 40th Chili Open Golf Classic would not be possible without the incredible generosity and support of our Corporate and Title Sponsors.

For 40 years, events like these have brought our community together for fun, fellowship, and giving back—and our sponsors play a vital role in making that impact possible.

Thanks to their partnership, proceeds from the events will benefit 20 nonprofit organizations throughout the Mahoning Valley, strengthening education, services, and programs that make a difference in our community.

We are deeply grateful for our sponsors’ leadership, generosity, and belief in the power of community. Their support is not just sponsorship—it’s an investment in people, purpose, and progress.

👏 Please join us in thanking our Corporate and Title Sponsors for helping make the Night at the Races and 40th Chili Open Golf Classic a success.

The Rotary Club of Poland was honored to welcome, Jeff Vrabel Jr., a representative from American Legion Post 15 to share the rich history of the organization and highlight its continued service to our community.  ⚕️Thank You, Dr. Haltigan!   ⚕️

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Jill Haltigan, M.D. as our guest speaker. As we head into the winter months, many people experience the “winter blues,” and Dr. Haltigan shared valuable insight on ways we can support our mental health during this season.

She reminded us that even as the days get colder and darker, simple habits—like staying connected, being kind to ourselves, and checking in on friends and family—can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you, Dr. Haltigan, for educating us on practical mental health habits and for reminding us how important it is to support one another throughout the winter months. We truly appreciate you sharing your time and expertise with us!

Theater 101:

In the past the Stage used to be slopped because they weren't able to have the seating like we do now, there was a "down stage" "center stage" and "up stage" this is where the term "Upstaging" came from.

    THE FOUR-WAY TEST
  1.  Is it the TRUTH?
  2.  Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3.  Will it build GOOD WILL
  4.  Will it be BENEFICIAL to all
