"Rob Gallagher, Club President" - Zoom & In Person Mtg
President Rob, Club Assembly
Next week’s program is going to be a brief talk by President Rob talking about his journey in Rotary followed by a review of the Strategic Plan.
The Strategic plan has been a multiyear process that was initiated by Bill Patrick. Bill enrolled Greg Orth to help lead the conversations and efforts to determine the methodology and process for the creation of the Strategic plan. Bill and Greg were united in the vision that they wanted a strategic plan that would be a living document present and considered at board meetings and in the ongoing operation of the club. To achieve this, they decided that the Strategic plan must be simple and understandable without being bogged down in complexity. Bill, Greg and Rob will review the plan and how it will be used moving forward. Our club owes these two gentlemen, along with everyone who participated in the creation of the Strategic Plan a debt of gratitude.

Our Wheels and Wings Festival & 5K at Lancaster Airport is less than one month away. The race, car show, and fly-in on Saturday, July 24, are shaping up to be the best yet!
Now we ask for every member’s help to ensure a great family experience that supports summer programs for Lancaster youth—and all of our Club’s other local and global service projects.
1) Volunteer. Committee members will have sign-up sheets at the back of the room once we begin meeting in person on June 30. We need lots of help—especially if the event draws the large numbers we think it will—and we have a wide variety of jobs. Whether it’s for an hour or all day, please join us!
2) Become an event sponsor at any level by July 7. You no longer have basketball tickets or program ads to buy, and you’ve been saving money on lunches for more than a year. Any sponsorship amount is welcome! You can make your donation online at www.lancasterrotary.org/donate/. Contact Jamie Alton at jalton141@comcast.net with any questions.
The work we all do in the next two weeks will guarantee a great summer for Lancaster youth. Thank you for helping to make the return of the Wheels and Wings Festival & 5K a roaring success!
Yours in Rotary,
Steve Dietrich
