The Rotary Club of Wappingers Falls is proud to announce that we awarded a total of $11,000 in scholarships to exceptional Roy C. Ketcham High School students at our annual scholarship ceremony!
This special evening was filled with inspiration, pride, and hope for the future as we recognized the hard work, dedication, and service of these young leaders.
The awards included:
• $8,000 in Rotary Club of Wappingers Falls Scholarships to students who demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to community service.
• $2,000 in scholarships given in memory of our beloved Rotarian Carmen “Tony” Angelone.
• $1,000 Stan & Maureen Straub Scholarship.
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
Yousef Abdelhakim, Mayeesha Alvi, Lucy Coogan, Marcos Cordova, John Harkins, Taylor Langevin, Emily Paino, Emily Zhang and Sophie Zhang.
These scholarships are a reflection of Rotary’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and empowering the next generation. It was truly a joyful evening, filled with smiles, gratitude, and celebration.
