πŸ›’ Adopting Families: Club members went shopping to provide for 9 families in the Wappingers Central School District

🎢 Spreading Cheer: Hosted a holiday lunch for the senior residents of Lower DiMarco Place and sang Christmas carols to lift their spirits.

πŸ“š Promoting Literacy: Handed out over 200 dictionaries to students at 3 local elementary schools.

🍲 Combating Hunger: Partnered with the Town of Wappinger Parks and Recreation for a food drive, benefiting St. Mary’s and Bethel Missionary Church food pantries.

πŸ‘• Supporting Veterans: Purchased 20 sweatshirts and sweatpants for veterans at Liberty Station in Poughkeepsie.

πŸ† Honoring Students: Hosted December Students of the Month, celebrating outstanding students from Roy C. Ketcham High School, Wappingers Junior High School, Evans, Sheafe, and Myers Elementary Schools.

πŸ™ Gratitude from Meals-on-Wheels of Wappingers Falls: Several Rotarians were acknowledged by Meals on Wheels Board Member Sue Bennett for going above and beyond in delivering meals all year.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a difference this holiday season. Here’s to continuing the spirit of service in the New Year!
