Rotarians people of action and serve their fellow man.
What better way can you serve than by donating blood to a blood bank? It is a donation that helps improve health or save lives.  There were 30 donations made in the 6 hour span of the drive. Suffern Rotary is grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in collecting this commodity and deeply thankful to all who donated.

Suffern Rotary Club in conjunction with Good Samaritan Hospital & the New York Blood Center had a very successful blood drive on June 29th at Good Samaritan Hospital.   Suffern Rotary thanks each agency for this special service to our community. Thank you to Helene Guss, Rotarian and Good Samaritan Hospital employee and Amany Dgheim Messieha, Club President for coordinating this valuable service project.

Suffern Rotarians helped to guide donors through the registration steps to prepare for their donation. After their donation, Rotarians then provided snacks & chatted with donors as they waited the 15 minutes recovery period afterward.  Each donor was given a box of Girl Scout Cookies as a thank you gift.
