Paul Harris Service Awards - Ms. Irene Walker

Each year our Rotary club may bestow a Paul Harris Service Award upon Rotarians or non-Rotarians from Wasaga Beach and the surrounding area who have distinguished themselves through noteworthy international, regional or local community service.  Our club contributes $1000 to the Rotary Foundation in the name of each recipient.  The members of our club that have been awarded a Paul Harris Service award vote to decide who will receive the award.  This year we are presenting three awards - Dr. Dina Ghobrial, Ms. Irene Walker and our own Past President and Rotarian Todd Young. 

 

Irene is well known around Wasaga Beach but of special mention is her involvement in the sponsoring committee of the Wasaga Beach Air Cadets and her involvement with all HHART missions trip (1 through to the current one, number 6). Irene is a tireless volunteer with a huge heart and well deserving of the recognition of a Paul Harris Fellow.
