Meeting August 8, 2011

Special guest speaker Doreen Rose talked about a wonderful program she supports through her personal work and also through her school.  The Send a Cow projects works hand in hand with poor families in Africa teaching them the skills they need. The project provides training, livestock, seeds and support.  These families then pass on the seeds, young livestock and training to others.  Doreen is visiting former Rotarian Ken Miller and his wife Jill.  We were happy to have all three as part of our meeting.  To learn more about this project, please visit:  http://www.sendacow.org.uk/home.
