Dear Rotary Families and Friends,
On behalf of President Kevin, the hosting team invites you to a Rotary Family evening of fellowship, food, and learning.
Join us for dinner with your Rotary family, then lend a hand as the Club hosts Community Conversations: Online Exploitation, Sextortion, and Fraud - How criminals target young people and seniors.
Mike Foley will moderate the discussion, featuring: Derek Sullivan, Toronto Police Service; gang expert, and Christine Dineen, Ontario Provincial Police; school resource officer Together, we will explore internet child exploitation and how families and communities can help protect children and youth. The proposed discussion includes recognizing warning signs, encouraging open conversations about online safety, and knowing where to turn for help. This event will be of particular interest to parents, grandparents, caregivers, educators, and anyone concerned about children’s safety online.
The Rotary Family dinner buffet opens at 6:00 p.m. Doors open to the public at 6:45 p.m., with the presentation and discussion running from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Stay afterwards for informal conversation and fellowship until 9:00 p.m.

Meal rates: Members and invited guests of the Club eat for free. Rotary Family Adults: $10. Children: $5. Walk-in Visitors: $15
Admission to the Community Conversations presentation is free. Dinner charges apply only to those joining us for the meal.

What to Expect
6:00 p.m. – Rotary Family dinner buffet opens. Menu to be confirmed.
6:45 p.m. – Greeters in place; doors open to the public.
7:00 p.m. – Welcome and introduction of moderator Mike Foley and presenters Derek Sullivan and Christine Dineen. Presentation and moderated discussion begin.
8:30 p.m. – Formal program concludes; informal conversation and fellowship begin.
9:00 p.m. – Evening concludes; room teardown begins.

On the last Monday of each month, except June and December, the Club hosts a free public information session exploring topics of interest with knowledgeable speakers through presentations and moderated discussions.
