Last year, The Greater Newburgh Rotary distributed over $20,000 as a result of our “Hoops & Swish Fun-raiser” and “Taste of Greater Newburgh” events.  Along with the good you will do, your logo or name will appear on the back of  our player tee shirts and here on the Rotary website. $500 and $1,000 Sponsors will be listed first and on the event banners.

The Greater Newburgh Rotary Club with its sponsored youth club, Interact, just successfully finished their 3rd annual community basketball event and fun-raiser at the Newburgh Free Academy (NFA) gym,

Hoops & Swish is a COMMUNITY BASKETBALL fundraiser event that is a basketball shoot-off contest. The event is designed to involve a large part of the greater Newburgh community. You can participate 

  • as a shooter,
  • a sponsor
  • or a non-profit beneficiary.

Combining the goals and resources of your community with the wide reach of Rotary International helps us pool resources, and share them where they can do the most impact. The coordination of the projects brings more assistance to those in need, maximizing the impact of limited and specialized resources.

Toys For Tots 

The Greater Newburgh Rotary collected toys this past holiday season and  donate to the 
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. 
Thank you to all you gave to the less fortunate children and helped spread joy during  the holiday.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program provides new clothing and/or toys for children of needy families. Each Angel Tree is decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the name, age, and gender of a child who is in need of a gift. 
This past season the Greater Newburgh Rotary gave clothing and gifts for needy children.
