Past District Governor Tony Marmo inducted Donna Rein as the newest member of the Greater Newburgh Rotary Club on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Her sponsor is Rebecca Faubert.
Donna is a partner in a local mobile ultrasound business, and a 35-year resident of the Town of Newburgh, NY. She was born and raised in New York City where she began her career as a journalist for the New York Voice newspaper. After writing for several years, she moved into television at WABC-TV and then onto NBC Network. When NBC and Rockefeller Center were sold, she moved to Newburgh.
Donna is a board certified Ultrasound Technologist, (RDMS), licensed in the physics of ultrasound and Breast ultrasound. She is also proficient in Abdomen, Small Parts, Vascular, OB-GYN, High Risk OB, and Plethysmography studies in addition to their recently expanded foray into the exciting world of 3D4D ultrasounds for expecting moms. Donna has an MBA and additional certifications in specialty areas. She is internationally certified by the MFM Foundation in Paris France, and hold various certifications from the Mayo Clinic. She is the Clinical Director of their Mobile Ultrasound Services business and semi retired.
