Building the city from neighborhoods up!

Small things matter! Major DeStefano recognizes that addressing the smaller issues within a community will build goodwill and pride in our city. Community outreach meetings will be held in each ward, giving the residents an opportunity to express their concerns or appreciation in a less formal environment.
When the Mayor spoke to Rotary on June 7, he mentioned the transition in City Hall. A number of recent retirements required bringing in some new managers.
The Mayor is also working with Dr. Eastwood at Middletown Schools to resolve the issue of sewer line capacity needed for the new Chorley School.
In response to a question about the new Federal court, Mayor DeStefano said that he is trying to get a judge assigned to this court with a full calendar so this facility can be utilized more.
