1. Tickets are included in the cost of lunch. $20 is added to the Queen of Hearts pot each week. There is a minimum pot of $100. So, the first five weeks, the pot is $100 and then becomes $120 on the sixth, $140 on the seventh and so forth.
2. At the end of each meeting, the president will choose someone to draw a ticket. The winner of the weekly drawing wins $10 in scratch off lottery tickets.
3. IF, the winner is a member of the Carmel Rotary Club, in good standing, they will have the opportunity to draw for the Queen of hearts pot.
4. IF, the winner does not meet the criteria set in the previous rule, a card other than the Queen of Hearts will be removed from the deck and destroyed. The date, winner's name, card destroyed, cards left for the next drawing, and the new amount of the pot are recorded on the Queen of Hearts tally sheet and published in the club bulletin.
5. A standard deck of playing cards starting with 52 cards will be counted (to confirm the correct number of cards), checked for the Queen of Hearts and shuffled by a club executive and spread out before the winner. The winner can choose any card, which will be revealed by the executive who shuffled the deck.
6. If the chosen card is the Queen of Hearts, the winner is entitled to the Queen of Hearts pot. The winner is responsible for providing a new deck for the next Queen of Hearts' pot.
7. If the chosen card is not the Queen of Hearts, the card is destroyed and removed from the deck. The date, winner's name, card chosen, cards left for the next drawing, and the new amount of the pot are recorded on the Queen of Hearts tally sheet and published in the club bulletin.

9. When there are only two cards left in the deck, a new deck consisting of all 52 cards must be used as there must be a minimum of three cards for the winner of the weekly drawing to choose from. A new tally sheet is to be started with the current pot to be carried over.
10. These rules should be distributed on request or when the Queen of Hearts has been drawn.
11. The two jokers will be left in the deck. If the winner pulls one of the Jokers, a consolation prize of $25 will be awarded.
