District Assembly

DGE Tansukh Dorawala announces that this year's District Assembly will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Ramada Inn located at 542 Route 9, Fishkill. NY. Registration will be open at 8:30 AM and with the program commencing at 9:00 AM. The program includes lunch and concludes at 1:45 PM. There is no cost for Rotarians to attend the District Assembly.The District Assembly is open to the Rotarians of District 7210 with emphasis on the incoming club leaders for 2011-2012 to help prepare them for their year ahead in office.
The agenda for the District Assembly includes discussions on Strategic Planning for long term goal setting, the use of social media to reach potential new Rotarians in our communities, and securing Rotary Foundation District Grants for community service project. Also hear information on member strategies and the final push to eradicate the Polio Virus.
Rotarians will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions of their choice. Breakouts include a Future Vision Workshop for Foundation Chairs and Committees, Secretaries and Treasurers Duties & Responsibilities, Youth In Action - Interact, RYLA and Youth Exchange Panel Discussion and Leading Your Club to Greatness.
The Keynote Speaker for the District Assembly will be Carolyn Meub, Director, Pure Water for the World.

Please include the registrants club office held and club name when registering. All registrations are requested no later than March 29, 2011.
