The Carmel Rotary Club together with the Carmel High School Interact Club announces the 15th Annual Community Basketball Challenge
This popular community fundraising event will be held at the Carmel High Gym 14 Fair St in Carmel from 9am-1pm on Saturday Feb 26th. This event offers non -profits and community project organizations another opportunity to raise funds through the support of our local community members.
Community members can support this event in several ways: -
Be an Event Sponsor; Be an Event Participant or Be a Supporter of an Event Participant. It is a fun and easy way to give back to our community. “This year we have set a goal of $65,000.” event Co- Chairs Sal Gambino and Mary Shanley stated. They continued to note “over these past two years these organizations have had to cancel many of their own fundraising efforts while the demand for their services has increased. That fact makes this event even more important in helping them maintain their level of service to the Putnam community.” Although the goal is aggressive both, Mr. Gambino and Mrs. Shanley , believe it is achievable with the support of the community members.
Since 2008, the Community Basketball Challenge, has raised over $500,000. with 91 different organizations benefitting from the proceeds.
