The Peoria North Rotary Club recently donated $4,000 to the Peoria Unified School District to help purchase laptops for students attending school virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schools in Peoria will be opening later than normal and many classes will be conducted online instead of in person. The donation will be used to purchase 12 laptops for students attending Title One schools.

Jason Braunstein, right, president of the Peoria North Rotary Club, presented the donation Aug. 28 to Dr. Jason Reynolds, PUSD superintendent, at the Peoria Unified School District Administration Office.
