The phone answering is done on your own smart phone in your own home. Any interested person can contact Donna Ralston at 303 549-1932 or donna@mngmntplus.com directly to get more information.
b. On location at the Loan Closet 6825 S Dallas Ct, Greenwood Village, CO 80112-3622 to assist clients with equipment for a 2-to-3-hour shift at least twice a month. This requires participating in a one-time 2-hour training. Volunteers sign up at their convenience on days when they have time to volunteer. This training is set up when the volunteer(s) and one of our experienced volunteers can get together. It could happen for 2-3 or more new volunteers to attend at once. Times would be determined by consensus. If you take vacation or have other commitments, you simply sign up at times when you are available. Some volunteers want to commit to a set time every week or every other week while others do it randomly.
c. Individual to oversee our "permanent home items" that the Loan Closet sell and do not loan to clients. The Loan Closet receives donated electric wheelchairs, scooters, Hoyer lifts or certain other equipment that cannot be loaned out to clients. These items are made available as a permanent home item to a client who is going to need it long term. The funds generated from these sales helps to pay rent, insurance, phone & internet service, and cleaning supplies. This task can be worked in a very flexible time frame-- it might require making a phone call to a donor wishing to donate something, make an appointment to meet them at the Loan Closet to accept the equipment, replace batteries, if need be, and then meet a new client who is interested in purchasing the equipment. This process could take place over a week or several weeks depending on the demand for the item. It is always a cash sale with no guarantee, although the Loan Closet always makes sure the equipment is in good operational condition. This task is very sporadic and is not on any regular time schedule and usually takes a total of about 2 hours per item accepted and sold.
