Sign Up to Teach ESL at Samuels Elementary

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

I am announcing an exciting volunteer project helping students develop English language skills. We will again by volunteering at Samuels

Elementary school (Tamarac and Mansfield in Southeast Denver). We have worked with Samuels for many years.

Project: Each volunteer will go into a classroom that teaches English Language Development. You will work with students at teacher direction

and guidance. They will show you what to do. No foreign language skills needed. You will work with one to four students.

Time commitment 45 minutes on Wednesday every other week during a time slot that works for you from 8:30 until 2:30 during the school

year starting sometime during October.

Please let me know if you want to participate in this very exciting and worthwhile Literacy Project. Once you have done that all you need to do

is apply for the background check and we will work on a time slot for you to volunteer. These young students need our help in learning

English. They are extremely eager to learn and fun to work with. Please volunteer!
