Our weekly meeting was enhanced this week by a very interesting presentation on the challenges and rewards of sheep farming.  John Steele retired from banking 12 years ago and along with his wife transformed a modest cow farm into a successful sheep farm. They own 300 acres and rent 700 acres for more than 7,000 sheep including 2,250 ewes. You can find out more about this remarkable enterprise at http://www.shepherdschoice.ca
