Off to Japan -- Weekly Meeting of March 19, 2012

The weekly meeting was the occasion for warm wishes for a good trip and memorable experiences to Rick Storey who is leaving for Japan for five weeks as the leader of a Group Study Exchange.  He is pictured presenting a Rotary Language Training Grant cheque for $750 to Kengo Miyata in recognition of his services as a translator for Rick while he was preparing for the exchange.  The guest speakers were Trish O’Connor and Chris Westcott who spoke about the ongoing efforts to restore Atlantic Salmon to Lake Ontario.
