Our weekly meeting was held at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club and we were treated to a very nice lunch in pleasant surroundings. President Sue presented Past President Moe Grant with the Presidential Citation Award. Our guest speaker was Bill Byrick, the Director of Athletics and Recreation at Trent University (pictured). Mr. Byrick brought us news of the exciting developments in athletics at Trent University, including the completion of the 76,000 square foot Trent Athletic Centre. He outlined how Trent Athletics fills the recreation and fitness needs of a large student population as well as the community.
