Big Cheque for Music Fest

Our weekly meeting on October 31, 2011 was enlivened by the presentation of a LARGE cheque for $10,000 to Little Lake Music Fest. Pictured left to right are Melissa Doyle (director), Pat Hooper, former Rotarian and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Music Fest, Emily Martin, General Manager of Music Fest, President-elect Atul Sarrup and Diane Pick (chairperson). Selling 50/50 tickets at the Music Fest is a joint effort of our Club and the Kawartha Club. Special thanks went to Bob Fisher and Matt Holmes for keeping the funds straight each evening and a special t-shirt was given to super volunteer Mo Cox for the number of sessions worked and being top seller.
