Well it was a fairly well attended meeting today with Tim Tully of Awenda park as the guest speaker. Don't have the exact attendance figures, but noted that both Anne Murphy and Don Rozmann were present as guests and friends.

Rob got in a bit of trouble at the ticket sales desk and was accused of "being more like Ray" trying to impress the ladies. Both were fined, Ray particularly for butting in the lunch line ahead of our guests.

A couple of "sad toonies" from Paul and Mary. At least Mary got a rousing Happy Birthday for her trouble. Don informed the club that his nephew had completed a coast to coast ride on his bike and had just dunked it in the opposite ocean. Brian asked for help on the international committee and reminded everyone that we need reading help at the schools.

Tim Tully gave a great presentation on the work he does in Awenda Park and reminded us all of the gem we have in our own backyard. Awenda is a recreational park combining naturalist endeavours ( Paul, that's with clothes on!) with family camping and tourism. Get out and experience it!

A few reminders: Fireside on the 22nd at Peter's Clubhouse, Festival of Trees kick off meeting on the 23rd, and board meeting on the 24th, also at the clubhouse.

That's it for now.
