Good luck to new member Milton Uribe who is having his 3rd arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday, November 7th and he's determined to help at the Veterans Stand Down on the 8th.  What a guy!

Glenn's 2 year old granddaughter Julie has recovered from her procedures which all turned out very well - BENIGN.  And congrats to Glenn on recently becoming a Paul Harris Fellow plus 1.  Our club has 35 members, 23 of which have a Paul Harris.  For those of you who are not Paul Harris recipients, please contact Dave Woodcock for further information.

Pat Ranttila  and I (Barb) are on the Rotary Community Committee.  We have been contacting and visiting organizations that our club donates to (United Airlines donated amenity kits and blankets).  The club's intent is to fill immediate needs and not have organizations stockpile.

Pat is doing 90% of the leg work while I mostly do the emailing.   (BIG KUDOS TO PAT - she's one busy lady)

Pat is not the only Ranttila who works a lot on Rotary.  Pat and Jack will be volunteers at the Veteran Stand Down this week.

Thanks to John Kathrein for the use of his truck and other volunteers who helped moved our donation from point A to point B.  We collected coats for the Veterans plus each one will get a blanket comforter and amenity, compliment of United Airlines.
