Wendel Clark, former captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs and current Maple Leaf ambassador, has confirmed his participation in Hockey Day in Parry Sound.
The event, which is raising funds for the proposed West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre, is scheduled for March 30 at the Bobby Orr Community Centre, and is poised to be a hockey lover's dream.
Clark, who captained the Leafs from 1991-94, is renowned for his exceptional skills and leadership on the ice. He set career highs in goals (46), assists (30) and points (76) during the 1993-94 season, leaving an indelible mark on the sport. Today, as a team ambassador, Clark continues to be a beloved figure in the hockey community.
