Ukrainian Rotarians and Rotaract Members Attend Pivotal Leadership Seminar in North Bay
This past weekend marked a significant gathering at the Best Western Hotel in North Bay, where several Ukrainian members of Rotary International and Rotaract participated in the President Elect Learning Seminar (PELS), part of the 2024 Rotary Weekend.
A Weekend of Learning and Leadership
The seminar began on Friday evening, April 12, with a meet-and-greet session, providing a platform for all attending Rotarians and Rotaract members to network and share experiences. The event was structured to foster fellowship and provide insights into the dynamic roles within the Rotary community.
Saturday was filled with sessions aimed at both seasoned and incoming Rotary leaders. The day started early with a breakfast meeting, followed by a plenary session featuring welcoming remarks by District Governor Elect Stephen Wilkinson and an acknowledgment of the land.
