A contingent of officers from the District 5170 Interact Council addressed the club today. Lt. Governor, Oliver Borg, was accompanied by Natasha Kuo, Area 7 Director, Ben Huang, Outreach coordinator, Daniel Chan, Community Coordinator, Cara Nguyen, Area 6 Director and Stacy Phan, Area 2 director and Governor-Elect. We learned some interesting facts from their presentation, including that District 5170 is the larges Interact Organization in the world and that the number of Interactors in District 5170 exceeds the number of Rotarians! In part the Council members came to seek support for their travel to the Rotary International Conference in Sao Paolo, Brazil. As noted below, they also came to deliver boxes of cereal in support of Sunnyvale Community Services food program.
