Our Remembrance Day Service On Nov. 7th

Our Club honoured our Veterans of our community with our  Remembrance Day Service conducted by Police Chief John Hagarty.  The number of Veterans that were in attendance was impressive.  They were piped in by Piper Brian Gowan and sat with the members throughout the hall.  Representatives from the Royal Canadian legion, Sir Sam Hughes Branch #67 were in attendance along with their colour party.  The guest speaker was Belinda Wilson, Zone F-4 Commander.  Belinda was selected to attend the 2013 legion Pilgrimage of Remembrance and has used her talents as a writer, photographer, graphic artist and songwriter to put together a tremendous presentation that gives a unique perspective on Canadian Military history during the first and second world wars.
