Our Annual Burger Day

The Rotary Club of Lindsay held it's annual Burger Day Project in Victoria Park on Tuesday September 8th.  The set up crew were on the job about 8:00 A.M. and we were serving hamburgers and hot dogs by 11:00 A.M..  Right on schedule.  We served about 700 orders during the day.  Entertainment was provided by Mr. Bob May who did a great job.  Public information was provided by City of kawartha Lakes Fire Service, EMS., Police Service and the local O.P.P.  There was tons of fellowship and laughs to go around.  The winner of our 50/50 draw was Mark Mitchell of our own Kawartha Lakes Police Service and Mark graciously donated the proceeds back to our Club for use within our Community. The rain was a no show and everyone had a great time.  

Our "THANKS" go out to all who participated and helped to make this fundraiser a success and as with all our fundraisers, the proceeds from this event will go towards Community Service.
