President Elect Phil Wells announced that this meeting was a very special night as we welcomed the family of Nikki Franco and presented them with a check for over $25,000, representing money raised through the beefsteak fundraiser in June.  The funds will be used for a scholarship fund for students who exemplify Nikki’s particular interests in culinary arts and softball. Nikki, known for her bubbly personality, tragically lost her life in June, 2014 while in Florida pursuing her interest in baking and pastry at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
