Members welcomed Susan Noyes, a board certified Holistic Health Coach, who spoke on the topic “Be the Best Version of You at Any Age”.

Image

Confronted with major family health problems several years ago, Ms. Noyes committed herself to teaching others how to follow a healthy life-style. In addition to her work with private clients, Susan is a Certified Independent Health Coach for “Take Shape for Life”, a comprehensive weight loss and lifestyle program.

In her words, “Wellness is a journey, not a destination”. Everything works better for you when you are at a healthy weight. To lose weight, Susan is an advocate of eating 5 or 6 small meals a day rather than 3 large ones and moving whenever you can move. Exercise is a critical component of a healthy lifestyle.

Oxidation, inflammation and toxins are the great enemies of good health. To minimize the negative effects of these, add in positive behaviors. Susan suggested that members rely more on plant based nutrition, use natural products, and take measures to counteract stress in order to live a longer, healthier life.
