Birthdays and Anniversaries: Steve Fox’s son’s birthday and his daughter’s Sweet 16; Michelle Albergo’s birthday earlier in the month.
Sunshine: Richard Kilmartin is back in the hospital; Steve’s uncle had a kidney transplant.
Additional thoughts and prayers go out to all who are currently contending with adversity of one type or another.
Happiness:

Brittany was happy for Mother's Day and to be attending Circque d'solei.
Michelle was happy to be here and for Mike to be with her.
Cindy was happy she was early for tonight’s meeting and for a good plant sale.
Steve was happy his son's soccer was cancelled so he can be here and for his daughter's upcoming Sweet 16, his son's birthday, and Mother's Day. Also happy for Fay’s celebratory kiss of Peter on news of there being only 5 Raffle tickets left.
Bob was happy for Mother's Day and for his son getting married in two months (although he wasn't invited to the Bachelor Party).
Mike DePasquale was happy to be here.
Joe DiRosa was happy to be here.
Pat was happy that Joe has joined us and also for Mother's Day.
Mauro was happy to compliment Evelyn.
Peter was happy for there being only 5 remaining raffle tickets. He also is encouraging Bob to crash the Bachelor Party.
Ryan was happy for his new car.
Stuart was happy to be together with everyone and for Mother's Day.
Fay was happy for the rain, to live in wonderful northern NJ, Mother's Day for his wife, and for delicious Australian cake.

The Montvale Street Fair will soon be upon us. The Fair will be held on Paragon Drive in Montvale on Sunday, June 2 between 9 and 5. Steve Fox has arranged to have the Park Ridge Rotary Club table placed in a prime location near that of the Montvale Chamber. Set up will begin that Sunday at 8:00.

There being no program scheduled for the evening, two members volunteered to share bios.
Mauro Cappitella was born in 1934. He was raised in East Harlem by his parents. His father was a steel worker and his mother a seamstress. Growing up, he liked to play streetball - kids nowadays don't do that. He served in the Army. Mauro was an architect by trade, now he's the Godfather.
Ryan Cangialosi was born on August 23, 1987 at 2:44am, making him a Leo by 1 minute. His parents, Ron and Harriet have resided in Park Ridge since the late 1970s and he has one brother, Travis. He is graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in political science and from Pace University with an MPA in government. During his undergraduate tenure, he studied abroad in Sorrento, Italy for a summer. Ryan likes to stay active by staying in shape at the gym and playing basketball. He works in public affairs.
