Making a Difference in Haiti

On Friday, October 1, the club had the privilege of hearing from Pastor Andy Topp, a fellow Rotarian from the Ridgewood AM Club who is also the founder and Executive Director of the international Humanitarian Aid Foundation, Inc.  Since 2007, his organization, at times alone and at times in conjunction with other aid organizations, has worked to provide assistance to those in need both locally and globally.  For several years Pastor Andy, who is also minister to the First Reformed Church in Boonton, has been active with building an orphanage for girls in Les Cayes, Haiti. He was on one of his frequent missions there when the earthquake struck Port au Prince in January.
