Sunshine: Cindy Rose reported that Helen Paul is in the hospital. All joined in wishing her a speedy recovery.

The vast majority of Happy Dollars were given as a result of having 8 of our 9 scholarship winners with us today. In addition:
Jan Doornbosch was happy to have had the privilege of installing Bob Bustard as our president for 2013-14 last week.
Ryan Cangialosi was happy to have once been a Rotary Scholarship recipient.
Steve Fox was happy to be headed off to the Poconos with his son who is competing in a soccer tournament.
Stuart Gold was happy to welcome Sophie Stone from the Paramus Sunrise Club and John Wickes and Mark Magee from the Suffern Club.
Bernie Cohen was happy to be headed to upstate New York.
Your editor was happy that amongst our scholarship winners were several former RYLA participants.
V.P. Vlad Zherenovsky was happy to have the opportunity to run the meeting.

President Bob has let it be known that this month’s Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 7/17 instead of Tuesday.
Bernie read a lengthy and heartfelt thank-you letter from Robert Thorwarth, recipient of this year’s Stewart Alexander Memorial Scholarship. 
Linda Hanlon urged members to start promoting our 5K Walk/Run which will occur on Sunday, September 22 in cooperation with Half-Way Hounds. NOW POSTED IN THE "DOWNLOAD" SECTION OF OUR WEBSITE ARE PDF FILES RELATED TO THE 5K. SPREAD THE WORD!
