Hand in Hand Offers Hope for the Future

On Friday, March 4, Ms. Maura Milles, Director of the New York office of Hand-in-Hand, the Center for Jewish-Arab Education in Israel presented a thoroughly uplifting talk to club members. Since 1997, Hand in Hand has been building peace, coexistence and equality through a network of integrated, bilingual schools for Jewish and Arab children. The organization's success and longevity have demonstrated that children, families and entire communities of Jews and Arabs can live and work together with mutual respect and friendship.
