Club Inducts Its Two Newest Members

Thursday night's meeting was a special one as the Park Ridge Club welcomed its two newest members, long time friend Kathy Wertalik and Richard Jacobs, Vice-President and Branch Manager of TD Bank in Park Ridge. PDG Joe Laureni was on hand to preside over the induction ceremony. In his comments, he reflected on the camaraderie and many opportunities Rotary provides its members, and reminded club members, new and seasoned, of the obligations they undertake in becoming a part of this international organization that has done so much to help so many in the 100+ years of its existence. President Fay Logan and the members present offered Kathy and Rich their full support as they welcomed them officially into the club. Together Kathy and Rich bring new energy and ideas, multiple skills and talents and much enthusiasm. We look forward to working with them in the years ahead as we continue in our quest to make the world a better place.
