Don't miss The District 7490 FAMILY PICNIC Sunday, August 12! Come together at Pavilion C beginning at 10:00 at Van Saun Park in Paramus. District will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soda. Rotarians are asked to bring a dish that will serve eight according to the first letter of their last name (A-F, bring an appetizer; G-L bring an entrée that is NOT hamburgers or hotdogs; M-R, bring a salad or side dish of some type and S-Z, bring a dessert). Cost is $15 per adult, $10 for children age 10 and above. Maximum family cost is $50.00. If you want to volunteer to help plan this day, please contact DG Bonnie Sirower at (201) 446-1814 or email Botzie@aol.com. You can register and pay by credit card online at www.rotarydistrict7490.org. Register by August 5.
Past President Fay Logan is working diligently to arrange the club's first "Happy Hour" at the Defiant Brewery, 6 East Dexter Plaza Pearl River, NY beginning at 5:00 on Friday, August 17. Details will be sent out as soon as they are finalized.

ALL 40 ROTARIANS AND THEIR GUESTS WHO ATTENDED THURSDAY NIGHT'S BBQ AT DEMAREST FARMS WERE MUCH RELIEVED AND VERY HAPPY THAT THE WEATHER COOPERATED, THUS ALLOWING ALL TO ENJOY A DELIGHTFUL TIME - FINGER LICKIN' GOOD BBQ RIBS, CHICKEN, HOT DOGS, BAKED BEANS, HOMEGROWN CORN-ON-THE-COB, SALAD, AND WATERMELON. IF YOU WEREN'T ABLE TO JOIN US THIS YEAR, WE HOPE THAT YOU'LL BE AVAILABLE NEXT YEAR IN WHAT WE HOPE WILL BECOME AN ANNUAL OUTING.
