Lots of Happy Dollars again today as members congratulated President Joeen on having been recognized with a Walter D. Head Award and reflected on the great time that was had by all at the Presidents’ Ball.

Also – Steve Fox was happy for the fine turnout at the Montvale Chamber’s Taste of the Pascack Valley at The Courtyard Wednesday night and for all the money raised for the benefit of the Footprints in the Sand Foundation.

Cindy Rose was happy to announce her 2013 Plant Sale for the benefit of her Civil War Institute Scholarship Fund at Gettysburg College.

Bob Balentine was happy to offer support for Cindy’s scholarship fund, a fund she started for the benefit of students of history and has maintained for several years.

Ann and Nancy Kilmartin were happy to have Richard back home.

Stuart Gold was happy for the fine performance put on by Moxie at the Presidents’ Ball.

Numerous Rotarians were happy to have Chad Melton as our guest speaker today and to have the chance to hear about our new hospital.

President Joeen Ciannella was happy for the great turnout at the Presidents’ Ball and for the great honor of having been presented with the Walter D. Head Award.

·         Peter Wells was thrilled to announce that nearly 90% of our 50/50 Cash Raffle Tickets have been sold!! Only 35 remain. If you have any intention of buying or selling a ticket, ACT FAST. The drawing will be held on June 14 at the Courtyard.

·         Steve Fox reported on the upcoming Montvale Street Fair. The Fair will be held on Paragon Drive in Montvale on Sunday, June 2 between 9 and 5. Arrangements have been made for the Park Ridge Rotary Club to have a table in a prime location. Set up will begin that Sunday at 8:00.
