Please join us and bring friends who want to network! The Rotary Means Business Fellowship Provides Rotarians business networking events to meet and socialize with other Rotarians in business. The first Rotary Club was formed when attorney Paul P. Harris called together a meeting of three business acquaintances in downtown Chicago, United States, at Harris's friend Gustave Loehr's office in the Unity Building on Dearborn Street on February 23, 1905. The members chose the name Rotary because initially they rotated subsequent weekly club meetings to each other's offices, although within a year, the Chicago club became so large it became necessary to adopt the now-common practice of a regular meeting place. I am happy to share that we have formed the first Rotary Means Business Committee in district 7490 to facilitate a Networking Platform for fellow Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike! RMB is designed for you share business with one another, while adhering to the Four-Way test. Mission Statement Rotary Means Business encourages Rotarians to support the success of their fellow Rotarians by doing business with them, and by referring others to them. |

---------- Forwarded message ---------- Good morning Ladies and Gentleman,
Me: Mother Nature, you cannot fit all seasons into one week. Mother Nature: HOLD MY BEER…
Although having a snow day is very enjoyable, the amount of work we have to fit into now a short week is not! After having many emails with many of you, I feel that with disruption of our lives due to the snow, it would be prudent to let you all catch up on your work and spend time with your families. There will be NO official RMB meeting tonight. We will reconvene on April 26th at 5pm at the Cornerstone.
However, I do have some homework for all of you. In the next few minutes you will receive an invitation to set up your profile on RMB website. I will send you an invitation directly for our Chapter-RMB DISTRICT 7490. To register on RMB website-YOU MUST BE A ROTARIAN. The cost is $10 for 1 year or $75 for lifetime membership. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TO SET UP YOUR PROFILE. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE OUR DIRECTORY WITH THE ENTIRE DISTRICT!
Have a pleasant day and enjoy a wonderful evening!
I do apologize for any inconvenience for those who were planning on attending tonight.
Vladislav Zherenovsky, MBA President & CEO

Our next FUN NIGHT will consist of imbibing copious quantities of excellent Brew and ingesting tasty BBQ at the Defiant Brewery, 6 East Dexter Plaza, Pearl River, NY 10965 (just across the tracks from the Pearl River train station). Festivities will commence at 6 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2018.
For those who will still be feeling the after-effects of their St Patrick's Day pub crawls, it is said that the best cure for a hangover is to take "the hair of the dog that bit you."
In case anyone cares, the expression "Hair of the dog . . . " come from an old belief (probably from medieval England, where these things usually originate) that the cure for rabies from a dog bite was to get hair of the dog that bit you and either ingest it in some type of potion (Double, double, toil and trouble / Fire burn and caldron bubble . . ..) or put the hair in the wound.
Unfortunately, I will be out of town on Thursday. However, I expect the rest of you to make up for my absence by consuming a bit more brew on my behalf.
Lá ‘le Pádraig. Míle beannacht duit féin agus do theaghlach.
(Happy St. Patrick's Day. A thousand blessings to you and your family.) Ray
Uachtarán lá Naomh Pádraig
