The Rotary Club of Kirkland Lake is sponsoring Bianca, a student in Guatemala, through the RISE Youth Development Program. Recently, students at Kirkland Lake District Composite School (KLDCS)—led by the Rotary Interact Club—organized a Read-a-thon, raising over $700 to support Bianca and the RISE initiative in partnership with Rotary Kirkland Lake.
The Rotary $60,000 Fish Derby is an annual community event hosted by the Rotary Club of Kirkland Lake at Otto Lake. It brings together anglers of all ages for a day of fishing, prizes, and fellowship while raising funds to support local programs and initiatives. With over $60,000 in prizes, including cash draws and tagged fish, the derby has become one of Northern Ontario’s most anticipated winter traditions.
